Kati Morton is a licensed therapist who specializes in eating disorders. She aims to spread knowledge and awareness about eating disorders, as well as ways to recover and advice to those who are struggling. Kati truly cares about her subscribers and I can’t think of a single person who goes out of her way to help those in need more than her. She is unique in that she is one of the few people on youtube trying to raise awareness about eating disorders and other related mental health issues. Kati Morton’s channel has demonstrated growth by having reached out to eating disorder sufferers who have in turn recommended her videos to others. Along with youtube, Kati is also gaining considerable notice on sites like twitter and tumblr. With the help of youtube, I think it would it be possible that Kati could not only help lives, but save lives.

Kati Morton’s channel is unique in that her target audience is not very a common one- her videos are directed at helping eating disorder sufferers, their friends and family, and other professionals. She provides a different perspective on how to help yourself because she is a therapist herself and has more knowledge regarding psychology than the average self-help youtube video. With her supreme knowledge and advice, Kati Morton is really making a difference in the lives of those who have eating disorders and I think that’s why she has an extremely loyal group of subscribers.
